Skies, Mountains, and Hills will cover how to paint a variety of skies, mountains, and hills. Students will follow step by step instruction with the goal of completing an individual painting each week. If time allows the class will explore adding details to the composition with watercolor pencil, marker, and pen and ink. This is an ideal class for students who wish to improve their painting technique in watercolor.

Please bring your painting supplies to the first class. The instructor will provide reference photos of the painting compositions. Students are encouraged to suggest photos for the class paintings. The instructor will incorporate suggested photos when appropriate for the class.

The six-week class will meet on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 AM until 12 noon at the Glenshaw Public Library, 1504 Butler Plank Road. Classes will begin on July 15, 2026, and will end on August 19, 2026.
